It doesn't really impact the OG trades. Even if we got a big ask, the Pels would still likely have the best "all in" offer for Durant (Nets aren't trading him unless Ingram is in the deal) And OG fits their picture with or without him anyway. The other teams don't have the assets for a legit shot at KD.
Unfortunately, this does impact the FVV trades as basically all the likely destinations either have a Kyrie or offseason KD potential for them. Might be the last domino to fall on deadline day.
lmfao i was never connecting kyrie to OG in the first place. it's durant that potentially affects OG as teams will wait to see if he potentially puts his name out there too. and as i said, kyrie affects fred's market as a bunch of those teams will probably be interested too.

This is my fear as well. Teams may hold back on Masai's final ask at the deadline, knowing Durant is likely to be available. Why give up pieces now thay Brooklyn may ask for in the off-season? At the very least it's a new wrinkle Masai needs to navigate.

yep, exactly. it's all a bit more complicated now. i think there's enough buyers out there that bobby/masai can still get something done but it's an infinitely more complex situation with durant in the picture.

The fact you complain so much about this team is just confusing. We’re a young team who is to good to tank, but somehow that’s bad? Like you do realize not a single player in our rotation, outside Thad/Birch, are even in their primes.. right?
