You could always support another team if you're so salty about the way management operates? No one is stopping you lol

I don't understand, I am making a trade where we improve on a player front and that there is little difference between a first and a second. We made such a move so I am saying it is smart asset management.

I think you say eff it and take a waiver on him.

Birch and a 2nd round pick for him.

I think his value is in the can but it's still higher than that IMO

Hornets are rumored to be interested and if they aren't confident they can keep Jalen McDaniels, that's a swap that makes sense. Or the return of Plumlee, but his contract would require more from DEN.

Honestly, I only care to move Fred, Thad maybe. The rest can wait if the offers aren't there. If they trade Kyrie the Lakers, I see Fred going to the Nets as a real possibility.

3-Way!!!

Lakers get Kyrie, Markieff Morris and Khem Birch

Brooklyn gets: FVV, Thaddeus Young and Chris Boucher

Raptors get Westbrook, Seth Curry, Max Christie, Damian Jones and Kessler Edwards (waive)

PG Barnes - Westbrook - Flynn
SG Trent - Curry - Christie - Dowtin
SF OG - Siakam - Banton/Wieskamp
PF Siakam - Barnes - Hernangomez
C Precious - Koloko - Jones

Would love to retain Seth Curry for 5 years at the MLE! If Westbrook will re-sign for $24 million to start on a declining $2 million per year, I'd give him a 4 year deal. 24-20-18-16

What's with the bizarre proposals? First the Ben Simmons one and now this? This must be a poor attempt at trolling or something, except no one is particularly amused.

Denver is in the luxury, so won't take on more salary. Hyland for Flynn straight up?

The individuals who said it was impossible to be bad enough to tank if you have Fred + Pascal are still thumping their chest with hubris despite being dead wrong.

Projection is always a dangerous road.

The funniest part is you can tell they think they are sooooo clever. Constantly twist words and make up fake arguments for themselves so they can win because that is easier than having a genuine conversation with someone else

i don't know man, he's a franchise killer from what we've seen.

even Brooklyn isn't willing to spend that money and people wouldn't mind playing in Brooklyn.

It doesn't really impact the OG trades. Even if we got a big ask, the Pels would still likely have the best "all in" offer for Durant (Nets aren't trading him unless Ingram is in the deal) And OG fits their picture with or without him anyway. The other teams don't have the assets for a legit shot at KD.

Unfortunately, this does impact the FVV trades as basically all the likely destinations either have a Kyrie or offseason KD potential for them. Might be the last domino to fall on deadline day.

lmfao i was never connecting kyrie to OG in the first place. it's durant that potentially affects OG as teams will wait to see if he potentially puts his name out there too. and as i said, kyrie affects fred's market as a bunch of those teams will probably be interested too.

This is my fear as well. Teams may hold back on Masai's final ask at the deadline, knowing Durant is likely to be available. Why give up pieces now thay Brooklyn may ask for in the off-season? At the very least it's a new wrinkle Masai needs to navigate.

The only way we're involved in a trade for Kyrie, ends up with him in LAL & us with 2 FRPs and Westbrook solidifying our tank.

There's zero chance Masai is gambling on unvaxxed, Mr Pseudo Intellectual to debate "what is culture?!" lol while he deteriorates ours into nothing & you must be blowing some cali trees if you think Kyrie is sticking around in FA with LBJ at his doorstep the second the season is over.

The tank is on unstable tracks I wouldn't get too cocky so soon...all it would take is a small winning streak to derail them out of a top 10 pick

yep, exactly. it's all a bit more complicated now. i think there's enough buyers out there that bobby/masai can still get something done but it's an infinitely more complex situation with durant in the picture.

Basically, if I'm New Orleans - whether I actually want to take a run at Durant or not - you better believe I'm making Masai think I am to drive down the price.

We're not trading for Kyrie Irving. WTAF is wrong with people here?

Wonder who said this:

The fact you complain so much about this team is just confusing. We’re a young team who is to good to tank, but somehow that’s bad? Like you do realize not a single player in our rotation, outside Thad/Birch, are even in their primes.. right?
