I think it will be unavoidable that top rivals will get somebody. we won't be able to grab all the buyout guys so the focus might as well be to get the ones that are the best fit.
I don’t care about getting everyone. Westbrook/Beverly, for example, are players I wouldn’t mind seeing other teams sign.
Ross is the only buy-out candidate that could really help us. He won’t be some amazing player but he’s a playable 3 & D wing which is something we lack. The two forwards we brought in, KD & Warren, are two of the most injury prone forwards in the league. Bazley is ok but still need depth.
Has Ross ever really played D? He does like to shoot 3s though so checks that box. Personally I'd rank Jackson above him in my buy out list but wouldn't mind Ross. Although I think TJ might be a better offensive option.

Ross's advanced stats are GOD AWFUL. I know he plays on Orlando which probably doesnt help out, but yikes. His defensive rating the past 3 years: 115, 116, 118. And his offense is terrible too: 103, 100, 104.
I think someone like Will Barton who played very very well for the Nuggets two years ago (down year this year, but again, could be situation), or Justin Holiday (probably the most capable wing defender of the three here). BUT, we don't know who exactly will get bought out, so it's tough to gauge.
I think a wing plus some insurance behind Payne (NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT westbrook) is necessary as well. Again, not as big of a deal now that we have three guys who can run the offense, but I think Payne's foot problem is pretty bad. Would love for a defensive minded backup PG capable of staying in front of the small/shifty/quick guards to be bought out, but I don't know who that would be.
