I agree Herro WAS the bench last year. Now our bench is thin. Yurtseven will be a revelation, good or bad. I thought Zellar was a three ball man. He is not
I think there's things that can be done this year if everyone is finally healthy.
Start: Lowry, Strus, Butler, Love and Bam.
Run the offense through the PG, Butler and Bam.
Get a guy to basically ONLY catch and shoot the ball. Let Strus know if you dribble the ball more than twice you better get a very high percentage shot(layup or dunk) or we'll pull you for Duncan and the same goes for him except a 1 dribble limit. Although Herro is good at catch and shooting the ball, he wants to do more and Miami also handed him a contract to do more than that, let him feast on more backups. He'll get some reps vs starters in the playoffs and hopefully figure out some type of counters for higher level defenders scheming against him.
Bench: Herro, Oladipo, Martin, Yurtseven and either go small with Vincent or go big with Zeller.
Give Herro the green light at anytime when Butler or Bam's not on the floor so you take away shot attempts from Oladipo who sadly looks like he needs to become a defensive roleplayer to help this team (each time I say this he starts having good games).
It's odd but if healthy this team could vastly change how they're playing come the playoffs. Although Yurtseven isn't an all-star, he does add talent to push another bad player out of the rotation. Then again, they could have a number of players decide not to play defense and have an early vacation.
