Well looks like this is the end of the road for Andre Iguodala
Extremely unique player, as great an example of "positionless basketball" as anybody. I was thrilled when we stole him from Denver in 2014 (although I wanted to get Dwight Howard too, thank God that didn't happen). Graciously took the 6th man spot when Kerr came on, underrated move that set the tone for the dynasty that would follow. With Draymond, formed arguably the highest IQ defensive pairing in league history. And who can forget the completely non-controversial Finals MVP in 2015

Regardless of who you think should have won it that year, his reprising his starting role after a whole year coming off the bench for the first time in his career was huge in winning the ring that started it all. Even this year, he lead the team in +/- I believe, when all the athleticism and scoring ability left his body, he still had one of the best basketball brains on the planet. And hands, of course. I've never seen somebody better at swiping the ball out of somebody's hands without fouling, and I'd be very surprised if I ever do.
When the story of the greatest basketball team of all time is told, his name will feature prominently.
