Many players improve FT shooting over their careers. 3 pt shooting? That's entirely different. Do they ever consider the failure rate in getting someone from 30 to 35%? It has to be incredibly high. This 4 or 5 out offense isn't the only way. Honestly, having 2 or more below average 3 pt shooters in a 4 or 5 out scheme must be very inefficient offense. There are plenty of other options but they require work and sacrifice. I'm a big supporter of having 1 of the 5 players be very low usage on the court.
Observe UConn, Jackson plays that role. They have movement. Their players look hungry. Watch them on the bench. If they look like dogs waiting to jump on a bone when their coach calls their name. That's a winning team. Look at the Raps players, do they look hungry to you? The answer is a definite no.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.
