GT #81: HEAT @ Wizards 7 PM (NBC SW/1500 AM)

Post#1 » by FAH1223 » Thu Apr 6, 2023 7:05 am

YOUR Washington Bullets are 34-46!

Two more games left in the season and they're in DC. First up, the HEAT.

Miami is in the Play-In Tournament and had flirted with the 6th seed. But a bottom 5 offense has cost them in numerous games this season. The squad that went to the East Finals last season is missing NBA starting level PG play and they've got $30M per year tied up in a washed up Kyle Lowry and nearly $20M per year tied up in Duncan Robinson.

Your Wizards are tied for 6th-best lottery odds.

Nevertheless, the HEAT should win on Fan Appreciation Night in DC. LET THE TANK ROLL ON!!!!

The Wizards are right in the thick of it, watch them **** up the lottery race with two straight wins.

Ain't #soWizards without a couple of wins when you don't need them.

Nah.... Miami's got something at stake in its last few games.

OTOH, Houston beat the Nuggets the night before last! :) They could come in & knock us off in the final game.

Yeah, the Rockets could definitely come in and win on Sunday. I can see Sengun get busy with it.

Miami does have something to play for too. And Jimmy/Bam/Herro are going to be more than enough to get a good victory.

Any wins at this point would be devastating to the amount of lottery balls we could potentially have. Yall had all year to win, please don't start now!

You know what time it is

Isaiah Todd time. 38 minutes atleast. I wanna see the dynamic duo of Kendrick Nunn and Isaiah Todd. We need to see what those guys can do with superstar usage, you just never know. We might have a couple diamonds in the rough.

Can we get Yannick Nzosa over here on a 10 day? Is he even a real person? I see he’s played one single game this year.

If the blazers win against the Spurs tonight, and we lose out, we get the 5th spot right?

Need to start researching those Thompson twins. We’ve got a real shot at an elite talent.

The Blazers have been tanking hard lately...let's hope they don't disappoint!

Nunn and Todd would elevate tanking into a new dimension. I approve.

I believe with another Blazers win, there's a potential for a 4-way tie for 5th. There e is no regular season tie breakers for lottery spots with teams the same record. Lottery has it's own tie breaking mechanisms.

He has to be real, Nat, because he's injured. Only real people can be injured.

Looks like we'll have to rely on the Isaiah Todd strategy. :)

Yeah, can't wait for Beal to act like he's an active leader in game 81 of a failed campaign. This franchise never misses an opportunity to look ridiculous.

Of course there were also some great bands in the '80s.

One of them even had the Wizards completely figured out:
