I don’t get it, we have 2 of the best offensive players in the league, a guy that shoots 60%+, yet the best shot we can get is a contested mid range shots. We are making it so much more difficult for ourselves to get a shot up. whatever happened to Monty’s .5 offense? Now every possession down the floor is just an iso from Booker and KD.
We've become the Brooklyn Nets of the west in swapping our depth and assets for Durant. This a good example of why top heavy super team strategy just doesn't work against a balanced team with quality depth and young energizing talent. It would work better IF two of our Max stars were actually still in their prime at all. But Paul is a non factor mostly. And Durant is a shadow of himself since the ACL injury. He just doesn't have the same unstoppable explosive dominance. He's evolved into a more smooth yet less dominant factor at times. Ayton is too passive, and Booker for all his recent ascendance still struggles at times in big moments when it matters most! WE DESPERATELY NEED an influx of more size, length, elite speed, elite athleticism and serious physicality and killer instinct to offset our starters random struggles. And we need more LEGITIMATE QUALITY PREMIUM DEPTH in free agency.
