Marjon and AJ Green becoming top 8 rotation pieces would be a dream.

I just want Horst to tell us who won't be back under any circumstance. I don't think it's too much to ask.

Yeah blazza I definitely wasn't having a go at you, just more that I wasn't thinking we'd get anything of substance out of Horst, like MD has said. I was probably poking fun at the PR corporate speak of US sports, and then how as a collective we will all read too much into it!

We are pretty lucky in Australian sport, I think we get a lot more honesty out of our coaches, captains and club leaders than in other countries. In fairness, I also think our reporters ask much more insightful questions.

Q: Giannis, are you disappointed at losing in the first round.
A: No, I'm ecstatic

It was really interesting hearing a journo ask an AFL player about what was 'coming over the fence' from fans when they were 0-3 for the season and down at half time after winning the title (premiership) last year.

He has to become a regular rotation guy. It would be extremely helpful if AJ could become a reliable 3 PT shooter, especially if he can can hit 3s off the bounce or coming off screens. It's (past) time the Bucks find their gem.

I don't think Grayson or Wes are on this team next year.

the two guys that could be traded/ dumped individually that could cost us a 50 win season next year are...

1. Giannis...duh obviously
2. Bud

Everybody should remember that

If Bud gets fired i could easily see a total trainwreck regular season with a similar playoff experience. In my mind an outcome more similar to the Kidd years is very likely with a new "vision"

Giannis is a unique player with unique characteristics. Im not 100% sure its guaranteed that something is being left on the table with this team. But Im not sure either. Im just worried about it

My plan would be bring back Giannis, Marjon, Pat, AJ Green. Everyone else should be looked at in trades and you fill out the roster from there. I think resigning Lopez depends on what they want the roster to look like. The ultimate goal is to get an 8 man roster that works in the playoffs.

Oh and Bud has to go at this point.
Sorry but Pat is not really playable in the playoffs either

He’s been our only consistent role player all these years.

If anything, he’s only guy who’s shooting DOESN’T fall off in the playoffs & always gives effort.

I’d keep him, especially at his salary.

Yup, I want MarJon starting from Day 1 next year & AJ replacing Grayson.

Grayson is a decent role player but I think AJ is better sharpshooter & plays the better at the role Grayson should be playing.

Bobby seems like the obvious one to move. Just like he was the obvious one to move at the deadline.

grayson is 100x better than people here think.

hes not really a fix for the probelm but hes not the problem either. think of it as a car race. you dont blame healthy new tires if you lose except if its by a hair length. our motor needs the work not better tires

Grayson is ok but he’s not a starting caliber nba guard on any team

List me the 30 better two guards than Grayson.

Then list me another 20, because of depth.

I mean Chris Paul is the only real starting “PG” in the league, the rest are really just ball dominant SG AND Jrue could play off guard next to them and we would be a better team than with Grayson starting. So in my mind there’s around 80+ guards in the league better than Grayson.

ATL- Trae, Murray, Bogdan
BOS- White, Smart, Brogdon
BRK- Dinwiddie, Bridges, ~Curry, Mills, Harris
CHA- Ball, Rozier, Smith
CLE- Garland, Mitchell, Lavert, ~Rubio
CHI- Lavine, Ball, Caruso, DeRozan, Pat Bev
DEN- Murray, Brown, KCP, ~Braun
DET- Cunningham, Ivey
DAL- Doncic, Irving, Hardaway
GS- Curry, Klay, Poole, GP II
HOU- Porter, Green
IND- Haliburton, Nembhard, Duarte, McConnell
LAL- Russell, Reaves, Schroder
LAC- Westbrook, PG, Bones
MEM- Ja, Bane, Tyus, ~Kennard
MIA- Butler, Herro, Vincent,
MIL- Jrue
MIN- Conley, Ant
NO- McCollum, Jones, Alvarado ~Richardson
NYK- Brunson, Barrett, Quickley
OKC- SGA, Giddey, Dort, Jalen Williams, ~Joe, Wiggins
ORL- Fultz, Anthony, Suggs, ~Harris
PHO- CP3, Booker, ~Ross
POR- Lillard, Simmons, Sharpe
PHI- Harden, Maxey, Melton, Tucker
SAS- Tre, Vassell, Keldon
SAC- Fox, Monk, Huerter, ~Davis
TOR- FVV, Trent
UTH- Clarkson, Sexton, Dunn
WAS- Beal, Morris

~arguable

So I count around 70 that there is very little argument that they are better than Grayson and that’s being pretty generous because there are 96 listed here that I would probably take as a starting guard next to Jrue that I believe makes us a better team than with Grayson

Great list but he said two guards. More than half your list isn't a two.

Allan is perfectly fine and fairly paid. Sure, if you need his salary in a trade you don't hesitate to do it, but he's not the problem at all. And yes in an ideal world you could find a more dynamic G to pair with Jrue and then shift Allan to bench. Allan would be a great shooter type off the bench who can fill in plenty of games as a starter in today's rest heavy regular season.

Good possible move would be Portis/Pat for a more athletic G who can dribble, and shoot off the dribble and start him with Jrue. IDC which you call SG/PG. Allan slides to the bench, still gets the same 20ish mins.
Resident Lillard truther since 2015.

There's very few teams in this league that have a classic floor general type lead guard starter anymore. Like, people always bring up dudes like Derrick White and FVV but neither of those guys are really "PG's" either as much they're "shooting guards who can operate as the primary ball-handler". If you're looking for a classic floor general type, you're more looking at the following guys:

Monte Morris
Ricky Rubio
Mike Conley
TJ McConnell
Lonzo Ball

Right but you didn't answer his question. You came up with an answer for a new question that you created based off his initial question lol
