A 1st rounder for 4 years of good center production with a player in his prime is a 'terrible trade'?

The Raps probably go with a 3-4 year deal to bring the average salary down.

When you look at cap hit, Turner is $20. Pacers used their cap space this year to give him an 'advance.' It also probably acted as a "Sorry we put you through trade rumors for the last 6 years."

I hope Masai locks him up to a reasonable deal based on this. 4/70 should be the most and I'm hoping 4/65 is what gets it done.

Boston, Golden State, and all the teams that dont have one.
The Current playoffs show how important it is to have Big in the paint. All teams that dont have that, are getting abused in the paint.

Boston doesn't have one? They got Robert Williams coming off the bench right now loll.
Gstate has Looney rebounding like a prime Rodman for 7M a year. They don't have any money to spend since they're well over the lux tax.
Which other teams need a STARTING Center and can sign him in free agency?

Really, you are comparing a injured riddled Robert Williams with a reliable Center? Sorry but that were i stop taking you seriously.

Then there's teams like DAL, LAL who can create cap space, but they'd have to gut much of their roster to get there.
The Raps can probably play hardball with Poeltl and try to squeeze every possible penny out of him, but the most likely scenario is they sign him to a fair deal based on recent comps.

SAS would happily bring him back, considering they did offer him an extension pre trade

That would be the ultimate own. Imagine if SAS threw the bag at him?

You might want to ask the whole world as to who they'd rather have... Williams or Poeltl? Not to mention the potential Williams has...
I love Poeltl but please don't overrated the guy because of how pathetic our Center position has been for the past 3 years. The same thing happened when people thought Birch was a rotational player because he came after Baynes lol.

OKC looks like a great fit for him. Poeltl-Chet-Giddey-JalenWilliams-Dort-SGA is a nicely balanced top 6 and then they'll develop Dieng and whoever they draft at #12 to hopefully be the Wiggins/OG type 3 and D forwards that lineup is short.
but yeah, other than that there's only a return to SA, which seems unlikely since Poeltl seems to want to be on a playoff team.
The sign and trade teams for Poeltl I could see are Phoenix (Ayton, 3 way maybe, complicated but I think workable), Memphis, Portland and Dallas. The first two teams would get younger at the 5 and Dallas just need talent in the frontcourt.
