He's an UFA and would be perfect IMO as he'd add size, rebounding, rim protection, 3 ball and vet presence
In a heartbeat! One of my all-time favorite Nets. I was sorry to see him go. And if he returns, he'll be the first player to put in 10 seasons with the team. For me, that's a weird omen that the Nets have finally established some kind of continuity and stability of sorts.
Lopez would solve the rebounding issue and strength and a three-point shooting big; at that point, you still need to cut all the extra fat. One of DFS/Royce has to go and Dinwiddie is a facilitator that either needs to be regulated to the bench or traded. With Brook, you have to figure, what does the team do with Claxton? Does Brook come off the bench or start? Brook is starter material. In an ideal world, you hope Luka/Trae become available and cut the dead weight.
Hard to anticipate anything until we see how coaching will form.
Ben - Din - Patty
CamJ - Sumner/CamT
Bridges - Joe
Royce - DFS
Nic - Sharpe
Few things that stand out for me is Joe and Din contracts. At 18 and 20m both very expensive commodity. Can have Reggie Jackson for half of that salary. Lots of much cheaper options for both to say least without much of a drop, probably can even do better for less.
As we discussed before. Anyone not named Bridges can and should be available for right move.
