Getting FVV without giving up our big 3 is probably a best case realisticish scenario for this off-season to me or close to it

Best case scenario (for me at least) is the Bucks getting younger with draft picks and guys on rookie deals, probably at the expense of Khris and Jrue, and Giannis signing a three year $173 million extension.
That would be cool.
That would be cool.

If we could flip Khris for Beal, I think I'd do it. I know people hate on Beal, but in a new environment, better coaching and playing with Giannis, I think he could thrive.

i guess i could be down with that especially if nurse comes on
but personally id go 100% in on switchable long defenders and not worry about offense but thats just me

Yes, GoS. We'd be identical if you really think about it.

Pretty interesting proposal on the trade board
Bobby, Grayson, pat
For either
Poole, pbj, #19
Or
Poole, moody

I don't trust pooles decision making on or off the court. But bell I do that for 19 and a flyer on PBJ

Can we just stop with Poole. I come here for some smart takes, but the Poole talk is so dumb. I could maybe understand it if it was a buy low on a good contract, but he might have the worst contract in the league. Even if he was decent, it's blatantly obvious his teammates dislike him, and he has locker room issue. I feel like I'm going crazy. It makes absolutely no sense.

Except the Poole talk is a really good take if his real value is anywhere close to where the public perception has him. He’s a 20ppg scorer on solid efficiency with a well rounded shot profile while displaying skills which can lead to even bigger growth.

Yeah, giving up Jrue or Middleton for him is probably a no go, but if it’s just costing us a couple of our role players, I would definitely be happy to gamble on him. I doubt the offer being proposed above is actually something Golden State would do.

Yeah, we’re one year removed from pretty much everyone envying the warriors for having Poole. He also had an insanely efficient post season last year, >65% TS, averaging 17 a game.
I’d for sure buy low on that at the cost of those role players.

Re: Bucks Offseason Thread - Trade, news, re-tool discussion
I’m out on Poole now.
Getting benched this series is a major red flag. His defense and effort is pathetic, and he’s just not a very smart player.
So talented on offense but I think it’s fool’s gold. Stay away.

Fair point that we could have just as easily passed on Portis and kept Tucker.
That probably was the plan until he said he’d come back on the extreme cheap.
It’s hard to knock the Bucks for taking Bobby up on that offer. Of course we could have kept them both too and still acquired Allen.
From a dollars standpoint though whatever needed to happen to bring PJ back needed to happen. Team would have made the money back with deeper playoff runs, and all the failed Tucker replacements ended up costly too.
