Im staying away from perimeter players who can’t shoot.

https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/players/jaylen-brown-1.html

Jaylen Brown shot 20% from 3 and 60% from the line, too. Look at him now.

you’d be wrong 9 out of 10 times by that philosophy.

And i think nowadays the standard in shooting is way higher that most guys who eventually turn into decent shooters from a very bad base rate aren’t that good in terms of consistent and %

Maybe he turns out to be an elite shooter, but im letting the other GMs take that bed. Not me

Look at the alternatives, though.

An inefficient wing scorer who was wrapped up in a murder investigation and a munchkin that can't shoot anyway.

So just take Amen and hope for the best.

Well, I bet that inefficient wing scorer wont lack “killer mentality”

And that munchkin who can’t SHOOT will be more behave than Ja “dessert eagle” morant.

Just pray for the best. Amen.

Pretty much all free throws and threes. Clearly his agent told him what he needed to show off, lol. Should be top 15 pick, but will fall to the second. Would love for us to show some savvy and grab him.

Hot take: I'd rather have Leonard Miller at the end of round 1 and Jordan Miller in round 2 than have Brandon Miller at the top of the draft.

I still can't believe that George Mason had Jordan Miller and Tyler Kolek at one point and they just sucked. Very funny/strange.

Give me Jordan Miller and Kobe Brown in the 2nd and hope one of them hits at the SF/PF position. One of them will absolutely make it.

Or get Jalen Wilson instead of one of those two. Dude had a national championship to his name and was a premiere scorer in the Big 12.

Of the older guys, I prefer Keyontae Johnson, Jordan Miller, and Kobe Brown over Jalen Wilson right now.

O.M. Prosper is interesting. His size and athleticism got everyone to take notice.

Jaime Jaquez, much like Jordan Miller, has elite footwork in the paint. How they differ is Jaime was more ISO heavy and Jordan is more athletic/longer.

I like Jaquez a decent amount, but I'm wondering if his lack of atheticism is going to take him longer to become a role player in the league. He feels like a guy the Heat will stick on their G League team and become a regular contributor in two years.

Unfortunately we tampered away our 2nds this and next year to sign Tucker lol.

Yea, but it's not terribly hard to get back into the second round.

I mean, he's doing stuff here that not many 6'7 guys in this draft are doing. When it comes to role players in the NBA, I do like them to be the "star" at the college level. Like, even Georges Niang was a 20ppg scorer at Iowa State.

Been high on him. He’ll be good (borderline star?) with the right team.

Maybe it's because I'm watching a lot of Heat recently, but I noticed he does that Jimmy backdown and pivot into fadeaway jumper a lot, which is tough to guard.

Yup, same observation. His touch, IQ and motor is also Jimmy-esque.

It's kinda uncanny how much Boogie Ellis plays like Maxey.

We also gotta trade back into the 1st to snag Bilal Coulibaly. Looks like the big 3&D wing we've always needed.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
