If you are looking for personal opinions based on being the hypothetical GM...mine would be no.

IMO, at this stage of Lillard's career and with that contract, Sharpe and #3 are going to be more important to the franchise from here on out. If it was keep Sharpe and #3 or keep Lillard, I'd wish Lillard all the best...

I get this thought, but I've also seen wayyyyy to many times fans go crazy over a player for showing out over the last few weeks of a bad season, only for that player to not make the leaps people think will happen. Love Sharpe's potential as well, and when looking back on players who did this previously, history would seem to lead that he will not be in the group of players who flopped in year 2... but nothing is for sure. So with that, if there is a game-changing level player like an Embiid or Giannis level that in some world the Blazers have a chance at, if Sharpe needs to be in that deal, so be it.

Well, yeah okay…I interpreted the question to be trades that are realistic. IMO, the Giannises, Doncics, Embiids of the world aren’t remotely realistic for #3/Simons/Filler. If the Lakers want to trade LeBron/Davis for that package, then I might hold out for Booker/Durant…

If Lillard said yes to a realistic trade like Siakam, Brown or ‘my way or the highway’, I’d pack his bags for him.

I’ve said it elsewhere, but I believe it’s imperative that the Blazers split #3 and Simons if they are looking to trade them. Their value together to the franchise is more than what they would reasonably return in a single player.

Portland historically has gotten fixated on a specific player and I would not it past this team to
offer up Sharpe + 3 for Bridges

Let's say Miller's off the court stuff causes him to drop and Scoot ends up going at 2.

Portland might then view 3 as less of a valuable asset and might view Bridges as more valuable
than Amen Thompson and Sharpe.

I wouldn't do this deal for Bridges won't get as many shots in Portland with Dame/Grant on the scene
and might just go back to the 18 ppg scorer he was in Phoenix.

I appreciate your honest thoughts here.

I think your front office is having some long hard conversations now and it might mirror some of ours believe it or not!

I wonder if Sharpe could be effective at the 3 with a Buck Williams type 4. Dame, Ant and Scoot as a three headed monster between the 1 and 2

He reminds me of a young Vince Carter if he skipped UNC and went straight to the NBA. I think he is a better shooter from both 3pt and Mid Range than VC was already.

What really impresses me is the put backs and timing on the put backs. As well as crashing the glass to get said put backs. I think the sky is the limit for this kid. He's just a baby still when he hits 23-25 he's going to be a monster! He could still grow at just 19.

He surprisingly has a lot of defensive potential as well.

His handle definitely needs work. I think his confidence will grow a lot under Dame's mentoring and Chauncey. As much as I am not sold on Billups yet the Players love him.

I see a lot of VC, Kobe, and Roy not as overall players or saying he will be that good but I see flashes of parts of his game that remind me of things all 3 did in their career.

I understand the VC comps, but to me his effortless matches alot more with the cousin - T-MAC.

Now, T-MAC was taller and a much better ballhandler / facilitator, but athletically they have that similar graceful, near floating aspect to their games.

Portland doesn’t have a “historically” anymore. Entire new front office and coaching staff.
