To me the Beal trade is simple. He has a NTC so he has to not only accept the team he's being traded to but the actual players being traded, so basically Washington does what Beal want or they have to keep Beal and his contract which also means staying in the middle of the league with no real cap space to add talent or take on contracts for draft picks, basically Washington has to move Beal where Beal wants and for what Beal wants left on that team or they're stuck until his contract runs out.
Miami's side, they may want to expand the trade, Beal is a good/great player but he's not worth the contract he has so he is overpaid, Miami may have a stipulation that Washington has to take back Robinson's long term money and also expand the trade to get one or more additional players that can be in their rotation... D.Wright, M.Morris, D.Gafford and/or Porzingis(opt in). It's possible that Miami won't include Herro just for Beal, but if Porzingis were to opt in and be in the trade Miami could send them Lowry, Herro, Robinson and Oladipo for those 2, they'd get a young player with potential that they could market, nearly 40 million in expiring contracts and also have an overpaid 3pt threat that is under contract for 3 more years (player option will be picked up!) which means he's an expiring in 2 years.
If Miami somehow comes out of the summer with Butler, Bam, Beal and Porzingis they will be the favorite to get out of the East, With Bird rights you'd have the opportunity to retain Porzingis but that's a ton of salary. Also, next summer C.Martin will opt out and need a new contract, so possibly giving him up in the trade may be acceptable for the long run.
