It's not the worst, but it's up there.

I think that's what they'll end up getting.

Beal has the worst contract in the league. They should be thrilled to get off of it for free.

I’ll never agree with the idea that good players are the worst contract in the league when there are legitimately bad players on big contracts too even if they aren’t quite as big.

I think he may be legitimately bad and making $50MM in a few years personally.

Really glad we didn't get him.

I mean, he simply isn't. He's a very good basketball player with an extremely expensive contract.

There are no picks to trade, we don't have any cap space, we're going to be severely limited by the second apron and for what? THEN WHAT? Is this a tacit admission of Giannis having a foot out the door already? We have to build for the future NOW!

Farm G-league players or undrafted players. Green probably promoted to active roster this season hopefully. Get something at #58 hopefully. :D

One domino down, as expected not the Bucks (no current tradable assets for a fresh start rebuilding team).

Time for Horst to be creative and think outside the box.
Go Bucks!

Is it worth going after CP3 now? Can we offer Washington anything insignificant that might interest them? I’ve been against adding CP3 but for 1 season and very cheap, it’s not the worst idea right?

I wouldn't mind if it was possible, but I am confident he goes to Clippers or Lakers.

If CP gets bought out then absolutely the Bucks should make a call.

Probably a bitter sweet day for CP, he gets his extra cash but I think Booker was the first star he's played with that he genuinely liked and got along with.

Absolutely not. It would cost us either all of our bench players or one of our big 3. If they end up waiving him, then absolutely see if he'll take the minimum to sign with us, but there is no trade there that makes sense.

What a conundrum ! As some one already said , damned if you , damned if you don't. Almost to the point of just running it back with some minor tweaks . we just don't have much to offer other teams , we have almost no first round picks ( got us a chip though ) no second round picks because of the five we gave up for a guy that hardly played for us! This is a problem and I don't trust Horst !
I see all the trade ideas and I love reading them , but the trades involving Bobby just don't make sense , he's on pretty friendly contract which we need , he gives us front court depth which we need !
For me I'm trying to move Grayson and Connaughton or anything else to get a PG . I understand that our big three didn't have what it takes in the last two playoffs , but I swear our bench hardly ever came up with big games when we needed them !

It's weird with CP being so involved in cba negotiations. This is twice now he got himself in a spot where he squeezed out every penny but then got traded to **** teams due to that contract. Unfortunately this time he gets to have his cake and eat it too. He will get bought out and go to LA like he prefers instead of rotting in Washington.

Yea, we can't keep falling back on being a championship calibre team when we keep tripping over ourselves every year.

It is at least top 3 worst, only contract with a no trade clause that now transferred to the Suns. Beal is not a number 1 on championship team but his contract pays him like one and that no trade clause holds his team hostage. This trade showed just how bad it is.

I do, apparently you do not understand how contracts work however.

We were discussing trading all-star Jrue for Beal but people think it's one of the worst contracts in the league, actually insane

It's interesting to learn that the Bucks re-engaged with Beal Saturday. That tells us they must have something lined up to create that salary slot. Where we sending Jrue? Who else/what else were we landing in this deal?

They won a championship and tripped up like 4 out of 5 years. Some people think that running it back with a different coach will make a difference. I feel that you will still have the same low IQ players trying to carry out a smart game plan. You still have role players disappear in the playoffs. We are fine in the regular season so there is that.
