For 2 yrs the Wizards have had the worst PG play in the NBA. With a top 15 PG it could have been the other way around .
Even now the Wizard lack a quality PG.

The rebuild is moving forward with (9) 2nd rd picks , Nunn /CP3/Shamet probably all being moved (Look for CP3 adding to our 2nd rd haul of draft picks.)
Oh, it's so very sad. They've broken up that 35-47 team we loved.
Imagine being foolish enough to trade a tremendous player like Rui Hachimura! How could they...?
Imagine exchanging Bradley Beal, who has gotten better every single year of his career (just like Rui Hachimura, btw) for a broken down bum like Chris Paul who has lost... I don't know... dozens of minutes to injury over the last few years.
I tell you... things just keep getting worse!
If Paul is better than Beal...than why isnt Dallas, LA or GS asking us for him for a 1st
Hopefully CP3 and shammet out. Lakers and clipper have decent packages for CP3 and I just hold form if they don't wanna pay for a decent guard on a good deal. I hate the if he's bought out narrative, **** off.dckingsfan wrote:CP3 and Shamet in - Beal out.
What are the next moves?

Paul is a hall of fame. One of the best of all time but he is not better than beal right now. I don't care what the numbers say. He also had Durant and booker to give the ball too. Brad had kuz and deni lolpayitforward wrote:Jay81 wrote:payitforward wrote:Oh, it's so very sad. They've broken up that 35-47 team we loved.

Let's keep this peaceful, ok?
There's really only one way to tell if a player is good, & how good, & that is by looking at what he does on the floor. The numbers he puts up.
Have you done that in this case? Have you looked at CP3's numbers? Either over his whole career, or in his peak years, or in the '22-23 season?
& then have you compared his numbers to Brad's?
If so, I'd like to hear from you whatever you saw in those two sets of numbers that would make you think Brad is as good as CP3. Or near as good.
It sure doesn't look that way to me. In fact... it doesn't look close.
Well idk there might be an over the cap team that we might be able to get a second out of if they ask us to help them out.nate33 wrote:We lost Kuzma as an asset the day after the Trade Deadline. Once he entered free agency, he was no longer an asset. And at his asking price, he is not a S&T asset because there are too many under-the-cap teams who will be willing to sign him outright.

Only a disciple of the Grunfeld school of being a NBA GM is Kyle Kuzma a franchise cornerstone.
Sheppard's obsession with Kuzma was one of many indicators of how big of a mistake Leonsis made in keeping Ernest Jr. around.
I like Kuzma, he's an entertaining interview and he's outlandish confidence in making shots has made for some entertaining moments, but he's not a winning basketball player as a featured option on a team with plans to go anywhere.
Vert likely yet another asset pissed into the wind, let's see of this new head trust can get something back in return.

Well... I suppose he isn't likely to be with us when the dust settles, but don't tell me you think CP# is not "a quality PG."
He is the best PG in the history of the league.
Certainly since Bob Cousy.
Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.
