I doubt that there are any teams in the NBA and that's including the Raptors organization that would take Pascal over Bam. I cant believe that this is even a debate

well i doubt Bam would be even remotely effective as a 1st option. he's pretty one dimensional on offense.
He may not be as good offensively as Pascal but he is not far off as some people here think. He scored 20 points a game and he was not the first option on offence, and defensively he is miles ahead of lazy Pascal.
What did Pascal do as a 2nd option to Kawhi? Bam is nowhere near as good as Pascal is offensively. Not even close. Bam averaged almost as many turnovers as assists and is no threat to score outside of 15 feet from the basket. Bam also plays with Butler and a team full of shooters.
Pascal carries so much of the offensive load, it’s not surprising that his defense would slip. But without that kind of load, he’s a great defensive player which we saw in our championship run.
Bam has NEVER made an all-NBA team. Pascal has done it twice. That should tell you how each player is valued around the league.
If all things are equal, Pascal is better and frankly it’s not much of a debate.
