Does this mean they have a deal or deals in place to add vets to surround Dame?

Blazers just love using the media to try to create fake leverage. Sheesh, just do something--stop telling us about it.

They don’t do this at the last minute. They make deals in principle in case a or b happens, pretty sure.

They would have asked for the extension guarantee then too.

Honestly, I'm not even really following it anymore. Wake me up when someone gets real about it.

Blazers front office shenanigans makes me appreciate the Raps not talking until they have something to talk about.

Hmmm, who would rather have Porzingis or Poeltl?
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

I think the Blazers just to want to make it seem to everyone including Lillard that they really tried to add a star when they do make the pick.

C’s could of had him but they didn’t want to pay a first rounder for him.

Guess we know their answer.

Same exact core imo, they made Nurse the fall guy, they want to run it back

I would be very surprised if either of Siakam or OG were traded....and the only scenario I see where Fred isn't back is if a team like Orlando gives him a better contract offer. Otherwise I think he's back, Masai will offer him a contract for sure, it's just a matter of whether he accepts or not.

There is just no way they can lay this all on Nurse.

They didn’t have to make Nurse the fall guy for underperforming, he was the poster child for it. But if you were expecting top 4/ home seed and deep playoff run, then that wasn’t their ceiling, and pretty sure everyone knew that. But none of that means they don’t try and trade anyone to improve the team long term.

I would not want to be the team that gives Porzingis his big extension

Had Porzingis last season on fantasy. He was healthy and had a great season. I'd guess a lot of it was due to him going into a contract year. Worth the risk for BOS - they arent giving up much

A key part of that deal (assuming it goes through) is Clippers acquiring Brogdon. That ends any speculation of Clippers wanting to reset and trading PG for Scoot

Clippers are going into a new arena soon and they owe a lot of picks so they will run it back as long as PG/Kawhi can limp.

I'd say that's a pretty appropriate description of Keegan. He's already 23 years old and averaged a pretty pedestrian 12/5 on great efficiency as a 4th/5th option on a playoff team. I think it's important to look at ceiling here. What are his strengths and weaknesses and how likely is it that he can improve on some of those weaknesses to become a very good player in this league? I'd say it's pretty unlikely.

He's a good player though and is a great fit on the Kings. He should continue to improve as well. But his upside is limited given his profile.

He is 23 not 33 lol

22 lol but yea. Look at what Siakam and OG were doing at that age. Murray is ahead of them, weird to put a ceiling on a rookie.
