Youngs coming off a down year but I think he would thrive with tatum and porzingis , we'd get a distributer and I feel traes efficiency would go up with the better supporting cast. Our defense may take a hit but Browns D is vastly overrated anyways
Trae for Brown and we add pieces as needed
Trae for brown is certainly intriguing.
Trae dramatically improves our playmaking.
And trae, tatum, kp form a nasty trio.
Brown and brogdon
For
Trae, okongwu and griffin
Save 4 million on deal
Sign and trade grant for suggs
Vet min on griffin
Maybe tpmle on vet pg/sg for depth
Trae/pritchard/davidson
White/suggs/walsh
Tatum/griffin/hauser

Timelord/okongwu/kornet
C'mon now. I'm all for exploring a potential JB for Trae swap. But let's be realistic here when adding the other pieces in.
JB and Trae are similar value. But Trae has more years left on his deal and is younger. So he is the more valuable trade asset. Which means we would need to add picks and/or be taking back less valuable pieces outside of Trae than ATL is taking back outside of JB.
But Okongwu + Griffin is much more valuable than Brogdon.
Okongwu and Griffin are a couple of really good, young blue chip prospects. They both carry a good amount of trade value. Okongwu was the 6th pick in the draft 3 years ago. Has played well for the Hawks - he's just been stuck playing behind Capela. But he has size, athleticism, still high upside.
And griffin is only like 19 yrs old, was a top 20 pick a year ago, had a good rookie season. He's a valuable asset.
We're getting much more value back with Okongwu/Griffin than the hawks are getting with Brogdon. Brogdon is 30, injury prone, not a good defender..and ATL doesn't need a PG that bad, since they would still have Murray. And a team like the hawks (that is far away from being a legit contender) would rather keep the young players (trae is younger than JB. okongwu and griffin are much younger than brogdon). It's not like the clippers and suns who both have a bigger need for a PG and are closer to being a legit contender than ATL is.
