Find another trade to compare it to. Harden was acting a fool, getting fat, and showing up late to practice and willing to tank his value to get to where he wanted. Lillard is not doing that, he is a great deal more professional.
it’s still James harden
Even the KD trade isn’t equal in value
So what are we doing here?
Stop falling into the trap of value, the question is value to whom?
Player x, Picks, swaps = one value to one team and another value to another.
Find what the team is valuing more, for Portland, they are asking for (1) Young players first (2) First round picks (3) Expirings. In that order.
Miami is sending Herro (does not meet the quota, because he plays a position they do not need) little to no value to them.
Firs round picks, Miami's picks are late first rounders, they hold little weight, so if their not meeting the first request then at a minimun they will need a third team to get them 2 FRP's from another team, plus Miamis 2 FRP's at minimun.
Expiring contract, that is the only item Miami is meeting on their demand, but its last on the last of value for them.
Miami needs to find a way to meet deman (1), (2).
Durant trade gave the Brooklyn nets the value they requested more. (1) stud player (2) Picks & Pick swaps. at the time Phoenix had CP3 plus now Durant all at the end of their careers, those later FRP's from Phoenix will be valuable since Phoenix should stink in the couple of years.
