I might give up one of our crappy late 2RP's, like maybe the one from Phoenix in 2024, but I wouldn't give up a good one when the likelihood is that OKC is going to dump him anyhow.
MoneyTalks41890, a Trade Board moderator and OKC fan seems to think that Garuba and Ty Ty are likely to be the ones released.
I'd definitely like to acquire Garuba though. He is still highly foul prone and doesn't have great touch around the rim, but he has amazingly quick feet for his size and he'll hit the 3-ball if you leave him open. He fits the mold of the guy I envision backing up Gafford - a stout, long-armed, switchable defender who can play something other than drop coverage.
One thing worth noting: because OKC just acquired Garuba 2 weeks ago, there's no reason to think our management's ties with OKC will give them any particular insight on Garuba as a prospect.
