What does that make Rey Mysterio then? The guy had an awesome debut, no need to trash him because you hate AEW

To add, he's 18 and already has undeniable talent in the ring. He will add some muscle as he goes on and gets better.
It would be in Nick Wayne's & AEWs best interests to have him go to Japan or Impact or NWA or somewhere and build himself up - both physically and as a performer.

AEWs roster is too large, they can't find time for everyone on screen, the kid is likely to get lost in the shuffle.

Look what happened to Brian Pillman Jr!

Dude is now trying out for WWE despite having a "moment" in AEW and I presume plenty of supporters backstage.

I can see that. The dude is legit talent but yea the roster is big and he'll get lost since hes very green.

Not totally related but I remember talking with my wrestling buddies at work a couple years back when they started bringing in the big influx of big name WWE guys. Started with Keith Lee then in 1 swoop Punk, Cole, Danielson, we were saying that now some of they're homegrown guys like Brian Cage and Lance Archer will probably get lost in the shuffle. Ding ding ding. Hell, the latter 3's arrivals pushed Keith Lee into irrelevancy pretty fast.

Disclaimer* I know that Cage and Archer aren't "homegrown" to the extent of a Jungle boy or Orange Cassidy, but I'm sure you guys get my drift. It's in the same sense that Steve Austin wasn't as "homegrown " as the Rock.

I think Brian Cage is seriously misused.

Not hard to book a beast. Give him a mouthpiece to handle the promos and off you go.

They were doing that with Taz and it was working well. Then they got away from that.

Hes got the psychology and politics down as close to ric flair as anyone.

Deep down, you know hes all about the room.

This is where he reminds me of flair; he never breaks character, but hes smart and eloquent enough to drop in little pearls and insights.

Yea to me he's the 2nd best overall package after Roman.

And he does a heck of a Dax Harwood impression. Watch yesterday's Dynamite haha

I'd like to see AEW actually commit to MJF/Cole instead of predictable move of making one turn for the next PPV. Make this the new faction who has the Anarchy in the Arena type matches next year.

Agree they should keep them together for the time being.

Slow burn to Cole turning on MJF cause he wants the title.

Less than a month away from Wembley and they don't need a massive main event since the tickets are already sold.

Then they've got the PPV not long after and again they won't need a Cole v MJF main event there either.

I'd be saving the turn for November/December.

They gotta milk it longer just for the fact they lead the company in T-shirt sales. Gotta keep it running since its white hot.

I like the idea and potential of Cole being the one to turn and MJF being a face, I think that could be gold. Maybe Bullet Club gold if they reunite Cole and Switchblade for Cole to screw MJF out of the title.

I liked the two Andrade vs Matthews matches on Collision cause it was two credible midcard guys, instead of Darby vs 55 year old Japanese guy or Joe vs lucha jobber.

Ricky Starks doing a LA Knight/Rocky Maivia to the Rock transition definitely feels right

I actually kind of liked Action Andretti, Darius Martin and El Hijo del Vikingo vs Bullet Club Gold for a match that seemed like it would be filler going in

Didn't care about the womens match but I really like Mercedes Martinez finisher submission, I felt like the match was over for sure when it went on.

Moxley doing the curbstomp sometimes every once in a while would be cool, you could argue it's a better fit for his character than Rollins, plus there's all kinds of hardcore match stuff to stomp someone on

Steamboat was SLOW on that count, their fault for not making him be in the ring first, otherwise I liked the move of Starks beating him up for heat. CM Punk seems like he's in danger of going slightly cold if they're trying to make him babyface and without without MJF to work with, heel turn after Wembley would probably be a good idea.

The Gunns are pretty entertaining heels and deserve their spot. The cardboard Jay White thing always gets me as well.

I think Big Bill and Brian Cage is a fun big boy team and their match with FTR was best of the night I think.

Miro has to be in the doghouse for backstage reasons at this point, let this man go back to WWE.

Honestly RVD looked less washed than the Hardy bros, he has some Kevin Owens moves so being a little fatter isn't that bad, they should just sign him if he wants it.

Strong has played his part well as the little jealous bitch in the neck brace.

That whole Jericho painting thing made zero sense. Much easier to have just had him reject the offer and that be that. Nobody has a painting ready for a "no" scenario. Especially a salesman like Callus

Feel like they could have made Omega/Jericho/Page/Guevera vs Callis family the Stadium Stampede, maybe they do Anarchy in the Arena at All Out a week later.

It would have been a more exciting ending to Dynamite if they made Orange Cassidy/Yuta match the main event so it can end with Kingston challenging them to Stadium Stampede, or the Jericho/Callis segment as the "main event", instead of just a Gunns vs Young Bucks match. Some subtle things like that could help compared to WWE.
