Apparently the Clippers didn't want to include Mann or multiple firsts.Snakebites wrote:GreekAlex wrote:Snakebites wrote:It’s hard for a player like that to realize they’ve reached a point where they’re no longer the desired asset they once were.
As absurd as all this behavior is, and as badly as trading for him as turned out for both of the last 2 teams that have done so, I think prime Harden could still get away with it.
This current version? No way. He’s still on the Sixers because the Clippers aren’t interested enough and the Rockets realized he’s exactly the wrong guy to have around their young core.
I see it slightly different. Obviously there’s a lot of blame to go around but isn’t it Morey that’s delusional about Hardens value at this point?
The 76ers should be glad to get solid role players to put around Embiid, Tobias & Maxey.
Harden isn’t worth more than that.
If the clippers will give solid expiring role players, that’s all an opt’d in expiring Harden is worth. No picks, no prospects.
We can’t know this without knowing what the Clippers we’re offering.
I didn't even realise they had firsts to trade and thought OKC owned them
