As absurd as all this behavior is, and as badly as trading for him as turned out for both of the last 2 teams that have done so, I think prime Harden could still get away with it.

This current version? No way. He’s still on the Sixers because the Clippers aren’t interested enough and the Rockets realized he’s exactly the wrong guy to have around their young core.

I see it slightly different. Obviously there’s a lot of blame to go around but isn’t it Morey that’s delusional about Hardens value at this point?

The 76ers should be glad to get solid role players to put around Embiid, Tobias & Maxey.

Harden isn’t worth more than that.

If the clippers will give solid expiring role players, that’s all an opt’d in expiring Harden is worth. No picks, no prospects.

We can’t know this without knowing what the Clippers we’re offering.
Apparently the Clippers didn't want to include Mann or multiple firsts.

I didn't even realise they had firsts to trade and thought OKC owned them

There’s only so many ways to match Hardens $35M salary with Clipper contracts and none of them appear negative.

We don’t know for sure but considering Moreys troll comments about wanting Evan Mobley for Tobias, I’m guessing he’s in the wrong value-wise.

I always just assumed that was his off-color way of telling Cleveland he wasn’t interested in trading them Tobias.

Morey is an odd fellow but he’s no dummy.

I’d never suggest he’s a dummy but stubborn and big ego seem accurate.

Weird move to sign and waive a player - what was the point of signing him in the first place?

They did it twice, apparently it’s to retain their rights for the G League.

Christian Wood to the Lakers 2 years vet minimum with 2nd year as a player option.

Not surprising but if he can't fix his locker room reputation this might just be it for him

When the bottom feeding Pistons don't want to resign you, and then the bottom feeding Rockets trade you away... and then Dallas has zero interest in resigning you at any amount of money after they just missed the playoffs with you.... it certainly hurts your market and makes it look like you are a guy that can put up numbers but not a guy that plays winning basketball.

Rockets gave him $41 million over 3 years so he's set for life off that small end of season performance he put up for Detroit after we traded away Drummond.... which is kind of crazy to think about as well he was out there playing to put up numbers for us playing selfish ball to a degree and it worked and got him $40 million.

I still wonder what is that wrong that Wood is unwanted for more than the minimum. I understand greedy, maybe a bit of a head case, but still a proven offensive role player. I suppose we'll hear more at some point in the future.

There's a fair chance AD goes down for an extended time at some point. Wood might get on the floor and with Lebron keeping him on good behavior, pull off a good run to snag another payday.

As long as it's not the Pistons, I'd enjoy watching another team or three move him around for a few more years. As a bonus, it'll keep at least a few here wishing we had him lol.

I remember one postgame, Casey said, "There's a reason he's been on 5 teams before" and thought "Woah" because he never said things like that to any other players.

Did Luka Doncic complain constantly before he got to the NBA? I'm going to guess no. But maybe some of you watch international basketball. I'm going to hope my DVR catches the next two games (left?)

I was watching something on YouTube where Dallas was benching him. Basically can't be a center who isn't willing to set screens, block out or play defense.

Which is why he might pair well in a front court with LeBron and AD... spacing the court but you have other guys who are very capable. Of course LeBron can't defend at an elite level like he used to but he'll still get the benefit of the doubt a bunch.

Lmao @ "not just taking a cab".
Reminds me of one of the Maloof"s, whose family not only had a large stake in the Sac Kings, but also owned the Palms casino in Vegas.
Needless to say he had dozens of limos at his disposal, yet still managed to get popped for DUI in his own neighborhood, OOOPS!!
