The Judge deal is going to end very poorly.
Only bc we have a clown cast in the front office... how do u lock this man up for eternity only to surround him w basically the same exact underperforming team n give him zero help?
literally makes no sense how this FO thinks or operates
Cashman still think he got Jeter, Posada, Bernie, Mariano out there with Torre to manage... it'sa damn shame
It's funny and sad bc the one guy from our golden era I don't think we ever replaced was posada... nothing but guys that couldn't hit just basically free outs especially the past handful of years. jorge was a **** gem both w the bat and the glove... the way he COMMANDED the plate and handled the pitching staff was so inspiring... clutch hitter, just a winner like his good buddy Jeter
Oh snap.
Jorge Posada. Forget them damn batting gloves. Just urine on the hands. Hand that pitching staff rolling consistently.

jorge was a real ball player... old school, built different, just an overall winner. his framework, clutch hitting, professional attitude, humbleness, leader.... that '98 team and around that time was just so damn good high profile talented stars and role players everywhere... Jeter, Posada, Bernie, Tino, O'Neil, Sierra, Brosius, Giambi, Mo, Pettitte, Moose, Wells, Clemons, El Duque, Soriano, Joba, Matsui, Cano.... it just felt like anyone we brought in BOUGHT in and was business as usual.. they all played such a big role in the winning mentality.... a true golden era

I mean Ruben Sierra was one of my favorite players and he was only with us for a handful of seasons... and he really only DH'd and always hit a clutch home run
