I'm just done. I am usually fairly upbeat and I try to be positive about my teams. This team has taken it out of my soul! As bad as the Knicks have been, I have had a decade+ of playoffs and a couple of finals runs in there before they became this mess. The Jets have been terrible for most of the last 40+ years.
As for the QBs. Waiting until the second round to draft a QB is not trying to get a QB. Geno? Not even worth mentioning. Using top picks on WRs/TEs/KICKERS? BROWNING FUQQING NAGLE?? WHAT?![]()
I am just done. There's nothing positive to say about this team in the last 55 years. 4 AFCCG losses. That's it. Nothing else worth talking about. The worst owners in he NFL every time they get a new one!
I respect the loyalty and feel your pain. I've pretty much taken a break from the Yankees for this season because Cashman drives me nuts, so I know the feeling.
The draft stuff has been crazy frustrating. The one thing I give JD credit for is using premium picks at positions I like (aka mostly both lines), but the jury's out on the actual selections.
I don't agree with Geno slander though...Geno was a really good get and has developed into a pretty good QB (closer to the middle of the pack, but he would have this Jets team in the playoffs). Drafting TE's and the Kicker pick (he wasn't even good) are killers. I don't picking WRs high as much.
My one thing is that you HAVE to hit on your high picks. We have the most insane history of failure picking in the second round that I have ever seen. It's as cursed as our QB slot.
