I think , in order to manage JI's body properly, it would take injuries to all 3 of WCJ, Goga, and MoSwag before they try that.

I like it! Jumbo lineup strikes again. Would be interesting for sure.jibba jones wrote:What if the fifth starter spot is won by Isaac?

There is no more managing JI.

There is a negative chance Isaac ever starts over Banchero. Banchero played in 72 games (and was healthy for 75; missing games 80-82 for "player development" reasons).
So that means there would be like 7 games Isaac might start. Add to that positional issues (like M-Wagner starting late-season games), Isaac might, maybe start 3 games this coming season unless something truly horrible happens to Banchero.Spoiler:

If F-Wagner goes down, that give minutes to Black, not starter minutes to Isaac. G-Harris would slide to the 3, and Fultz and Suggs would start at guards.

Franz can shoot it. No way Fultz and Black (& even PB and Suggs without further shooting improvement) play big mins together…Ingles slides in there, also could be Jett’s opportunity. Ingles is the closest approximation of Franz until we see more of Jett. Houstan and Okeke could have a good camp, still may have a say as well.
I could see scenarios for Black at 1,2, or 3…but none should involve Fultz, imo.

This, but Black potentially more-so at SF/SG instead of PG right now. Might even see him at PF TBH. I still expect a Dyson Daniels type of role for Black in his rookie season. We'll see.
