His very first touch he pump faked, drove baseline left his feet and pulled 2 defenders to pass to an open shooter in corner 3. He still is a bit too fast with his feet on the catch to pump fake and go and I think eventually refs will hit him with travelling calls, he had 2 turnovers pretty close together being the ball handler up top with poeltl in pick and roll actions, just picks up his dribble too early and forces passes, the game is still a bit too fast for him but a good night with good overall moments as he hit 3s and crowd and bench was happy and he got to celebrate with a fun bench reaction on a make. Defensively still gets beat, he tries but he's young, one moment on d achiuwa actually gave him a little push to switch and contest achiuelwas guy since dick was in the way from the pick and roll they were defending, got a hand up and wizard player missed the 3 but you can tell that kind of cerebral defensive iq isn't natural for him and physically he can be taken advantage of on the d end. That said, he also had a bunch of tip outs and offensive rebounds, a good instinct to move without the ball and move in a dangerous fashion where if his defender leaves him the shot is going to be pure and you'll get burned so guys have to chase his off ball movement and his instinct to move and crash the boards when he's not the shooter will mean his impact will be important to offset defensive woes and his relocation on loose ball plays to get open is a plus.
