I'm wondering if it is just having guys on the bench who have no expectation of playing. Injury insurance cheerleaders.

Since injuries do happen it'd be better to have guys who can actually play. Imo

It's honestly perfectly feasible for him this season and that's nuts. If he clinches both he'll shoot up into top 20 player discussion, I think.

So what’s his status then and why would the update it during the game a sprained foot.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

If Scottie is an all star this year I think it’s also very possible that he gets the call for the Olympics too

He would basically be the next Draymond for USA

I'm happy to watch Poole on another team. The Wizards might be bad but they'll be fun to watch.

edit: what's up with J Davis is he hurt?

edit ii: found it, "Davis will miss 1-2 weeks after suffering a left elbow sprain at practice Monday

His very first touch he pump faked, drove baseline left his feet and pulled 2 defenders to pass to an open shooter in corner 3. He still is a bit too fast with his feet on the catch to pump fake and go and I think eventually refs will hit him with travelling calls, he had 2 turnovers pretty close together being the ball handler up top with poeltl in pick and roll actions, just picks up his dribble too early and forces passes, the game is still a bit too fast for him but a good night with good overall moments as he hit 3s and crowd and bench was happy and he got to celebrate with a fun bench reaction on a make. Defensively still gets beat, he tries but he's young, one moment on d achiuwa actually gave him a little push to switch and contest achiuelwas guy since dick was in the way from the pick and roll they were defending, got a hand up and wizard player missed the 3 but you can tell that kind of cerebral defensive iq isn't natural for him and physically he can be taken advantage of on the d end. That said, he also had a bunch of tip outs and offensive rebounds, a good instinct to move without the ball and move in a dangerous fashion where if his defender leaves him the shot is going to be pure and you'll get burned so guys have to chase his off ball movement and his instinct to move and crash the boards when he's not the shooter will mean his impact will be important to offset defensive woes and his relocation on loose ball plays to get open is a plus.

0.001% chance USA takes scottie to the olympics next summer, let's not overdo it. Too many stars in their front court ahead of him.

Poole is a perfect Tank commander for them. High usage inefficient guy who will do just enough to generate interest without winning too many games. Big salary that helps them reach the salary cap floor too. Win-win for all.

Malachi def heard the slander from last game  , kudos to him. Still have concerns about his defense and how he dies when getting screened but hopefully he builds on this.

Terrible take. Barnes' style of basketball is likely even more effective against international play. 0.001%? Absurd.
