Man it makes looking back at those years pretty tough, fair play to all of us who sat through it!
Sadly with work this year (and time zones in New Zealand) going to have to watch more games delayed than I'd like.

- Rockets are definitely winning this game
- Rockets will have a winning season of 42 wins or more
- Jabari had a better rookie season than Paolo Banchero (okay that was just one guy I think, but)
They actually thought they’d instantaneously be better. Adding FVV and Brooks will but they aren’t turning that team around THAT much. I also think Green is way overrated.

Thanks! Just read the last 3 pages. Was fun. That said they seem as a whole pretty reasonable in their dissection of what that team is doing wrong.
EDIT: Actually I read some more, I think I might need to take that back. Some posters there are reasonable, some sit at the total other end of the scale.

That's a really good reminder. This team had and has a never say die mentality.tooler wrote:We shouldn't forget the fighting spirit was already there last year. All of us were shocked when the team didn't roll over and die like they had in prior seasons. They lost games but played hard not to get blown out.
Now the same spirit is combined with real talent and player development. That equation won't win a championship but it might produce a surprisingly successful season, especially in a league recently where some teams and players struggle to motivate themselves to play the game.
We'll see what happens. Of course winning produces good vibes, and losing will expose real weaknesses on the team that haven't gone away. My approach is a readiness to be pleasantly surprised.
