Package 3 or even 4 guys plus draft picks and actually go out and get a higher end starting guard or a higher end forward capable of playing 20-25 really good minutes a night off the bench.

Don’t move any of Franz, Paolo, Suggs, Carter, Black or Jett. That’s your core group.

We are 2-1 and almost won this last one. You went from 0 to 100 real fast. a "4 player" trade 3 games into the season would be unfounded and probably a first ever.

I’ve been calling for them to pick a lane since before the season though.

They’re “trying to win” only they’re not making the moves to field the best team they can field.

They’re “trying to develop” only they’re not playing two lotto picks.

Eventually this dam is going to break and they’re going to have to choose one path or the other.

I’d rather them be proactive and just pick one now instead of halfway through the season.
I'm still shocked Mosley is benching them even with our logjam. Maybe Harris was cooking in training camp as well, but I would have sworn incentives were in place to develop our lotto picks and give them a path to playing time.

It truly is a case of run it back with the two lottery picks as complete nonfactors. Really hard to agree with the coaching or executive rationale.

We have a bunch of other lottery picks who make up our core. Alot of these arguments don't make sense and become circular which is why I don't spend nearly as much time on these websites anymore.

This trade wasn't some conspiracy - it was just a GM wanting AD bad enough where in most people's eyes he overpaid by a long shot to get him.

They won’t come around at all on the bench. You don’t get better by watching. That’s not a thing in the NBA.

He will eventually get mins but it won't happen now.

That’s my point. It needs to be happening now.

Why does Markelle Fultz need 33 min a night? So he can continue to show us he belongs in a backup role and can’t shoot?

Big fan of Mose as a head coach but we need to support him with an offensive coordinator.

How hard is it to implement a big to big screen on the block, swing the ball and get into Paolo at the baseline/elbow 1 on 1.

Also love Franz but the guy flat out can’t get a 3p off while isolated when the defender knows we need a 3 because he has the release point of a child who is not strong enough yet.

We need to better understand our player’s strengths and put them in positions to be successful.

Banchero criticisms are really wrong imho.
basically the fact he is not taking more bad shots is seen as weakness, that it is really crazy to me.

this,x1000.
If you don't want to implement a proper"system"ok,but at least try to put your players in the best position possible.

there is no excuse to have Banchero or even Fultz against way more smaller opposition and they can't receive the ball or not even try to get the ball either.
if you have a mismatch, try to take advatage of it.

also:we need Wendell shot the 3 to open the floor,he can not pass when he is totally open outside.

Tough loss, the Lakers were there for the taking on a second night of a back to back with Lebron looking his age for most of the night and Austin Reaves being pretty dreadful apart from a short burst of life in the third. the offense let us down, a lot of poor plays on that end and down the stretch we looked unsure what to do. We wasted Harris's scoring explosion which turned the game around. The defense was very good and the energy level was impressive, but we shot ourselves in the foot with poor execution on offense.

It's very early days, but Paolo's jumpshot is starting to concern me, he's shooting 25% on jump shots for the season and he can't even make free throws at a decent clip.

Suggs's energy level is really impressive and infectious and his jump shot is improving.

Cole was too selfish at times.

Fultz with another game with 0 FT attempts or 3 pointers made. He does some things very well (finishing at the rim, getting to the rim and playmaking in transition, his midrange is solid and he can get to his spots pretty easily against almost all individual defenders), but these weakness are really holding him back.

Fultz had 8 assists last night with 1 TO, on 3 game he has 16 assists to 3 TOs. Say what you want but he is by far our best playmaker.
His drives and midrange shot is kind of one of the best options we have. I would much rather have him taking a last shot been minus 1 with 20 sec to go for a win.

Trust me I agree but Black is super raw and Fultz is just better right now.

He is not an efficient scorer. Current 40-20-60% is a terrible metrics. I don't trust his jumpshot, 3 point shot has not improved and finishing is shaky as well unless he gets fouled and his FT shooting regressed as well.
I can see some improvement on defense and rotations, his assists per are awsome, but we desperately need a quality go-to scorer.
And Franz is taking way too many 3s, I want to see more drives and midrange game from him. He is kind of a team play dude, but if Paolo continues to struggle we must get Franz more looks.
Franz is leading the team in usage and in solid first option territory.

15 shots per is still too low, plus half of those are 3s
Didn't you hear mose? We're doing it "by committee"

Dude... they wont miss who they traded as long as Zubac PG Kawhi and even RW is still there...

Half of their team is questionable and they traded away 3 rotation guys (one being a starter), having to play 3-4 third string guys is absolutely a positive even if you have your best players. Magic learned the hard way last year with our depth being depleted.

They have the BIG that can bother our frontcourt in Zubac, they have the 2 allstars that can make shots in the wing. They have the enigma in the PG spot that can give youa a trip-dub or a 10 TO game any given night.

I think they are still good to go.

From what i saw from Clippers, they are very, very, very good team. Without Harden.

i don't know what to expect tonight.

Westbrook /Mann /PG / Kawhi / Zubac

Hyland/ Powell / Mann / Plumlee

I guess that's a rotation.

WE can try to overpower them only if Paolo has his head on straight for this game

The game was over when I realized Suggs was on hair club for men.

We don’t need the most polished product on the floor. Fultz is in year 7. We know what he is. I’m not saying he shouldn’t play, but guys like him and Harris can play fewer minutes so Black and Howard can get SOME time on the floor.

We are in the 4th game, and these guys have played 5 min each total.
