Yeah at least I’ll admit it , unlike you bozos acting like Nurkic is something special

Literally NOONE has called Nurk or referred to him as "special" or anything remotely similar. Reading is fundamental dude.

You are all over the place with Nurk, and talking highly of him. I read all your stuff about Nurk!

I speak highly of his passing ability, executing the offense, and screening but at no point in time have called any of it "special". If I thought that I'd use that word specifically.

Another terrific effort tonight.

All that practice against Biyombo in the past 2 years almost paid off as he got pretty close to matching his 8 points, keep up the good work DA.

It's a shame Mr Jackson Junior had 21 more points than you tonight he is a bit mean. Ignore any draft comparisons I always say going first is brave in itself.

Your team almost won against a team yet to win you shot 33% more than 0% it's like a glass a third full well done.

Your story inspires me to not let people with autism on the internet be silenced we can change your narrative together!

Ayton stuff aside, it’s crazy to me that Biyombo remained unsigned for this long. He showed last season that he’s better than at least some of the end of the bench bigs on some teams.

is DA really going to avg 10 ppg with Simons out and a bunch of 1st and 2nd year players?

I think we made a mistake not resigning him.

He had 5 fouls tonight and nearly fouled out of the game but from your 3rd string center you can't really ask for much more.

Biyombo is a blue collar dude who comes in and gives you effort. The problems start bubbling up in the playoffs though because he gives you practically nothing on the offensive end and we know how "spacing" obsessed all NBA teams are these days.

If Ayton had this game wearing our uniform, I can't imagine how livid all of us would be.

One thing I love about Nurk is that he's not on a max contract. You just can't pay DA enough to give a sh*t.

DA shouldn’t have less than 15pts in any game with Portland. He has 3 free throw attempts this season. That’s just crazy.

Big Biyombo was after the money, I'm sure he'd be on our team if he was happy to play for the min..

He's on a $5m deal with the grizz, we didn't have that to offer.

Being physical night in night out should generate AT LEAST 3-4 trips to the line a game when you're a big man. It just speaks to the type of player he is not willing to be. He lives and dies by his jumper and lack of shot creation.

DA is the worst possible fit for us offensively, he is efficient if you look at FG% but that all comes at the cost of 1. clogging up the lane and midrange where our best players operate and 2. terrible screens, terrible court vision and slippery hands. All for his mediocre 18ppg at best, he simply doesn't have the basketball IQ, motor and ball skills to score more than that. On top of that, he's not even that efficient once you consider he doesn't get to the line and he also can't shoot 3s.

He does move his feet very well for a 7 footer on defense but you'd be mad to pay him the max just for that.

Yup.

It was definitely a moment of 'what kinda team do we want to be?' after Beal got here.

Beal and Booker and KD need that mid-range. DA probably could have averaged 13-14 ppg on insane efficiency, and 13-14 rebounds, but he didn't want that.

There's a human element to this -- they probably approached him and asked him how he envisioned the year going, if he was happy, etc.

I still think (as others do) that we should have said eff it, you're on a contract, you need to get out there and rebound and play defense, who cares if you're pouting. When our big 3 is injured, then you can score. Be a team player. Sacrifice.

But I also understand that the relationship was soured. Book was tired of his non-fire. Monty still left his bad vibes, his clueless / passive-aggressive way of spouting platitudes, but not really managing personalities.

The team needed a reset, Nurk was probably excited, Grayson Allen was a good piece. So they decided hey, why risk having a cancer all year, then possibly having to trade for 40 cents on the dollar when we can get 60 cents RIGHT now.

I personally think Vogel will find a way to actually improve our defense from last year, even without Ain't-Him.

KBD is intriuging, Eubanks is athletic and hustles a ton, we got nice perimeter defense coming out of Okogie, Allen and Goodwin.

We just need a big wing like OG and we'd have this thing in the bag.

Lots of stuff to be excited about, and I hope this board can stop all the whining and toxic blaming.
