Improvement definitely there. But you’d be naive to think FVV and Nurse werent obstacles last season. Hence why his first 7 games have been an MVP jump not just an all star one. Always more than one factor. This is basketball not baseball.
Lol what? Do you think hes gonna stay at mvp level or more likely will dip a bit but remain in that all star realm you mentioned, or maybe even all nba level? Because that seems way more realistic to me...which would still be amazing btw. Everything we could have hoped for as a fanbase. Gotta chill with the mvp stuff though.
Hey If scottie was half this good last year even in his secondary or tertiary role, we'd have been a lot better even with fvv struggling with his shot , and being bad half the season, probably again in that 45-48 win range of 2022. Thats my point. Obstacles or not he just wasnt.
But that just wasn't the case and scottie really put the work in to actually improve and we're seeing the fruits of his labor. Some people Indirectly blaming the favorite whipping boy 20 times a day because they want so badly to be right in this thread is insulting to scottie himself imo. And i don't mean you btw i was just responding to the article you posted.
The scout said it himself. Everything looks different. Even physically. That's the work he put in and that's what we should be talking about and praising.
