I much prefer the way Gard schedule's. Their OOC schedule wasn't why they were on the bubble last year, it was their conference play
Eventually, raw W-L can to come back and bite you. I’m just overreacting a bit tonight, I know, but they may have 6 losses by 2024 and little room for error…granted, the B10 looks to be down this year.
You could argue given last year’s deep B10, they are basically creating the same schedule as last year by loading up non-con.
I’m sure most will say that if you can’t go better than 17-13 against a tough schedule who cares, and I know scheduling tough games sometimes is considered good by the committee, but they basically are leaving their season up to pulling some upsets/winning the close ones.
