Is that your way of saying we're better currently so lack upside?
I'm not even sure if the Cs are better now. But Phily and the Bucks have higher upside because they have 2 true elite talents that can be #1-2s on a championship level team (Giannis/Dame/Embiid/Maxey). Cs only have 1 in Tatum, Brown and KP are only #3s at best on a champion level team. Hopefully having 2 #3s adds up to better than having another #1-2 for the Cs to win it all.
This is a strange argument I'm not sure I'm following. One, Milwaukkee, while they have time to turn everything around have looked genuinely below average. Very poor defensively and guys like Lopez and Crowder are pretty well cooked. Bad defensive teams do not win championships. Add on to that they are 29th(!) in rebounding, it probably is not going to happen to them without a 180 shift.
I've said I think Philly is legit post-Harden and after installing Nick Nurse. They're good. However, I'm not sure what KP being "only" a one-time all star has to do with him being a mitigated threat, and not good enough when you have three other guys (White, Jrue, Brown) who can absorb and rotate out that "illusive" #2 responsibility. Weird, leaky ship of an argument here.
