maybe someone can add a poll?
I think you move him in some kind of package for a vet that can take Black under his wing while providing some short term success for the rest of the season.
It will also avoid the FO from getting egg of their face for letting Fultz walk beforehand for absolutely zero return. Thats just my opinion.

I can see this. Jett starting isn't outside the realm of possibilityRichCollab wrote:Fultz needs to get his knee right. My question is how do we add shooting to the SL? I do think WCJ is an upgrade over Goga in that department.
I still feel only one of Suggs/Black makes SL after the next 2 years. We need 1 elite shooter in our SL.
Love what Suggs and Black have shown so far.
I actually think Fultz would be one of the best PGs on a second unit in the NBA just not here.
We need rotational shooters.

I do like Brogdon because he can play with any other backcourt partner - on or off ball. I'd prefer Simons long-term, so (for me) who's more available and for how much?
I've posted much bigger, broader trades...but given how well guys with questions have been playing, I'm a bit more willing to take a smaller step, like...
Fultz & Chuma & ORL 24frp (top 5) for Brogdon...I don't think DEN 25 frp would be enough
or same offer PLUS DEN 25 frp for Simons...Brogdon is better today, but Simons is a longer term bet and an elite, athletic, bomber
I think these are both plausible offers...POR isn't in any great rush and will expect value for these two. Either would be great.

Fultz and a top 5 pick for Malcolm Brogdon? Wow. That’s…a take.

If Orlando makes the playoffs, then we will see that Fultz has had a positive year for the team.

Players can be evaluated independently…not every player contributes to success. It may become clear that his spot is the weakest link, regardless of how far the team goes

Top 5 protected pick…it shouldn’t even be in the lottery unless we have terrible injury luck. Do you the DEN pick (likely 25-30) is sufficient? Fultz isn’t valued by POR…expiring salary. Brogdon is the reigning 6th man of the year.

Oh, a return to the lottery is a very real possibility. Very real. And Brogdon, although a good player and someone we could use, doesn’t change that trajectory in a meaningful way.

Do you think Brogdon could approach the impact Jett Howard has had so far?
