Ugly loss obviously, but I'm not too worried about it. Kinda surprised to see the
amount! of negativity around here. It was clear they didn't bring it all so it only makes sense. Hornets earned it too.
Maybe the worry is they didn't bring it all, or at least a little bit more. Road trip, White is key and so on... but I don't care about circumstances. This team is stacked enough so none of that shouldn't be excuse. Effort and poise was mostly lacking last night.
I didn't particularly enjoy watching Jayson chuck all night. Yeah he had 46/13/6 on good percentages but we was -5. With Tatum putting these numbers the Cs normally win by 20, so this means to me that this was forced offense and there was little flow (Hauser underutilised too). Tat's so good that he can fool you thinking that's sustainable offense.
Joe & the team believed they could get away with a win like that, but that is predictable offense and no other other than Pritch got going. That is not as much a Jayson problem, but more of a Celtics problem.
Jrue's been off recently, ok, that happens but I don't think he misses those freebies if Joe calls a time-out.
11-3 league leading record. Onto the next.
