Jokic the best in the world.

35 And 1's for that post. Likely, 10x what you've ever gotten in any post out of 25,000 here.

Just think about that. Think about why that might be....

Umm, I've been here since 2005. And 1s were introduce more than 10 years later. Nice try though.

Eyeatoma's account was hacked for that post, consider it a blip in the system/matrix. Everything is running smoothly. Move along, now.

Eyeatoma, I'm a supporter of the cause, but are you aware that Jokic was averaging 29/14/11 before that last game? It seems like Fat Goat doesn't want to miss an MVP this year by letting Embiid crush him in PPGeeez. Tough one, might have to take another L here and come back even stronger next year with an improved 'Biid. Even though assists are pushing Biid's PER to what would be another all time high so far.

Also Jok, is at an all time high in 3 pts attempt and if he brings that % up, well, it's over for you.

Good day.

Tatum vs Giannis on Wednesday should be great

Oh man. Oh, man. OH MAN! That's impressive.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had 32 paint points on Saturday vs the Mavericks. He has 30+ paint points tonight vs the Wizards. Giannis is the 1st player with 30+ paint points in consecutive games since Shaquille O'Neal in March 2002.

Jokic has been ejected from one playoff game (not sure where you're getting multiple from?) when they were about to get swept and down 8 vs. a superior team. He did a frustration foul after a no-call and accidentally hit Payne's face while swiping down at ball...but where is the 2nd playoff ejection???

He also nearly ended a players career by hockey checking them when they weren't looking.

Morris, down 18 with 2 mins left, ran at Jokic full speed, initiated knee to knee contact on his 1 knee carrying all his weight, and elbowed him in the ribs at the same time. He sent his knee sideways...and then turned around?

Let me ask you a question, if someone punches you in the face, but then turns their back to you...you won't retaliate? Cmon bruh  You of all people should know how dangerous it is to mess with players knees, considering Embiid almost ended Danny Green's career by flopping into him...he also stomped on Williams head! [/quote]

Embiid has never done anything like that. The worse he did was have a fight with Towns, if you'll call that a fight. Both were to blame there...

Never done anything like that? My brother in Christ, there are like 5 "almost ended player careers" in this compilation

Giannis has comeback strong after a not so good start. It’s amazing how guys can have spurts of looking like Superman while the other candidates look great, but Superman gets propelled. Everyone takes their turns.

That’s why it’s a whole season thing and not the first 10 games or just February or games 32-48. Guys can have spurts of amazingness throughout the season.

This is RealGM, where MVP threads begin 5 minutes into the season with Top 10 lists, lol.

There are levels here. Winning 3 in a row when you haven't won a chip was unprecedented.

What the case against Embiid? Hasn't advanced to the conference finals? Lol doesn't have the same ring to it.

People ignored Jokic winning without a chip last year because of great he was. You can say the same with Embiid this year. Putting similar numbers, best team in the league right now record wise, and just lost an all star caliber player and hasn't skipped a beat.

Embiid isn’t a prime time player...until that changes he ain’t the most valuable anything

Until the NBA says you gotta have playoff success to win the MVP, you're **** out of luck. Think about it like this, if you guys are saying Embiid shouldn't win with poor playoff success, then the same could be said about Jokic winning 3 in a row prior to winning the chip last year. It can be twisted both ways.

In the end it'll be between Joker/Embiid/Giannis. They're the three greatest players of this current generation (last 5 years). I consider LeBron/Durant/Steph part of the previous generation...

Don't sneak Embiid in there. Everyone in that list has rings, even though Durant is a ring chaser he still made the Finals without ring chasing. Embiid cant even make ECF.... Even lil Trae Young beat him in the playoffs....

Embiid is the Harden of this generation but more injury prone and less successful in the playoffs. Actually nevermind he isn't even Harden....

Allen dropped 28/13 and a bucket in the clutch right over Embiid, surprisingly dominated him. Embiid can’t have been tired given that he lived at the line too…

My one problem with the IST is that it’s too short. 4 games doesn’t give much wiggle room to win a group. Losing one game can mean you have no chance. I think it needs to be 5 games at least.

Speaking of IST MVP I think NBA.com had Haliburton as number 1.

Jokic and Haliburton are so far above the rest of the league offensively right now it’s insane. If Hali ever becomes an average defender he’s gonna finish as the GOAT PG.

Well obviously. That’s why I said IF he ever becomes an average defender. I’m not saying he will.
