Eyeatoma, I'm a supporter of the cause, but are you aware that Jokic was averaging 29/14/11 before that last game? It seems like Fat Goat doesn't want to miss an MVP this year by letting Embiid crush him in PPGeeez. Tough one, might have to take another L here and come back even stronger next year with an improved 'Biid. Even though assists are pushing Biid's PER to what would be another all time high so far.

Also Jok, is at an all time high in 3 pts attempt and if he brings that % up, well, it's over for you.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had 32 paint points on Saturday vs the Mavericks. He has 30+ paint points tonight vs the Wizards. Giannis is the 1st player with 30+ paint points in consecutive games since Shaquille O'Neal in March 2002.

Jokic has been ejected from one playoff game (not sure where you're getting multiple from?) when they were about to get swept and down 8 vs. a superior team. Giannis has comeback strong after a not so good start. It’s amazing how guys can have spurts of looking like Superman while the other candidates look great, but Superman gets propelled. Everyone takes their turns.

That’s why it’s a whole season thing and not the first 10 games or just February or games 32-48. Guys can have spurts of amazingness throughout the season.

My one problem with the IST is that it’s too short. 4 games doesn’t give much wiggle room to win a group. Losing one game can mean you have no chance. I think it needs to be 5 games at least.

Speaking of IST MVP I think NBA.com had Haliburton as number 1.

Jokic and Haliburton are so far above the rest of the league offensively right now it’s insane. If Hali ever becomes an average defender he’s gonna finish as the GOAT PG.
