Looks to me like the Clippers are back and have found a grove. I'm happy we got some separation. We need to stay playing above .500 ball, some teams are about to get hot. We need to be in the mix as a top 5 team in the conference.

We will have no, none, zero, zip, nada, problems playing above .500 ball.

There are slumps, there are injuries. It's not crazy to see us not playing as well as we are now at some point. I don;t expect us to be playing horribly but we could fall off. The good news is that we are building such a cushion that we are getting the point that even in a really bad scenario, like, we fall off so much we basically become a .500 team for the rest of the season, we could still comfortably make the post-season as we would something close to 50ish wins at the end of the year.

I hope we will for the entire season but I anticipate we will have a rough stretch or two. Losing streak or just a bad set of 5+ games or so where the sky will look like its falling. A 3-7 stretch or something which will hurt us but with our cushion or better yet, a bigger one, it wont hurt us as badly. Last season that kind of stretch could have sunk us.

Sure a bad stretch and 2 or 3 good ones. You're saying 33-33 is a reasonable expectation for the rest of the season. I thinking 40-26 would be OK and I'd like better.

Tonight has been extremely illustrative as to just how paramount the point differential aspect is to the IST. Next year it will be a major point of emphasis to leave zero points on the table. Nothing worse than winning a game and still losing because you dribbled out the clock in an easy win 3 weeks ago. From now on teams are going to be jacking up shots and not allowing any easy buckets. Its a big value loss if are doing that.
