Re: Game 19: Clippers at Warriors
Anyone noticed that Dubbs only played 2 really bad teams this month? While Fakers got to play so many bad teams already.
Hope Dubbs can beat up some bad teams next month.

Re: Game 19: Clippers at Warriors
There are very few bad teams in the West this year... Portland, Memphis, San Antonio are pretty much it. Clippers aren't very good and I dont see a big resurgence there. Do expect the Pels, Rockets, and Mavs to tumble based on a few team metrics that have been reliable in the past. OKC looks legit by the same metric, and the Jazz should rise a bit from their current status too.
Lakers and Kings also extremely shaky

They’ve had the second hardest schedule

we actually beat a team with Steph being cold all night...that says a lot...
it would be awkward when we start to lose games when wigs come back

This was a Clippers schedule loss. This trend heavily favored a dubs win tonight.
3 in 4 nights
B2b
Dubs were rested.
It's the next game vs the clips that will be more telling about dubs.
This win didn't tell us much, but a loss would have been just brutal.

Relax. You beat old team on B2B with negative record. there is nothing to be proud or happy about. Starters are negative again and bench saved their ass’

Oh no, Klay actually had a decent game!
Better than his heir apparent and even better than the one who can do no wrong.
This sucks, Warriors won so Klay can't be scapegoated!
Or can't he?

Dubs have had the strongest schedule thus far.
They will have the 4th weakest from here on out.

like i said, Curry and Wiggins have issues playing together (-9 in 100 poss), Klay and Wiggins have issues playing together (-9 in 100 poss) and same for Green. Sadly Wiggins is the odd man out here. I wont be surprised if we ship him out, actually Wiggins and JK would make a good package and hopefully land us a star level forward.

but wiggins is the worst player on the team based on all advance stats there available, so that is the truth. As terrible as Klay is, he is still a threat in given night. When the entire team is criticizing wiggs condition you know something is up

That conditioning leak was fake news to get hits by kendra andrews that was already refuted by slater on 95.7 . Unless of course you believe Kendra has more sources than slater.

the advanced stats available are free for a reason. POA players are penalized in most metrics, but also, metrics are reflective of results, not cause. They are loosely tied to cause, but are useless without context
Wiggins has not even been the worst player in the starting lineup... he's been a part of the best lineup we've put on the court. He started off the season ice cold shooting, and thats literally been it. Other than missing a game by slamming his hand into a car door which is Jordan Poole level awareness in everyday life

again, if a forward cannot make shots nor FTs, turns the ball over more than his assists and could not rebound, how can he be good? His man2man defense does not justify the overall negative impact on the court and his man2man defense has not been good neither..

They are not getting a player capable of anywhere near Wiggs’ best level for his salary if they trade him. He has no permanent health issue, at this stage he is worth betting on and patience imo, he wasn’t just a one year wonder in the title win, he was fine last season before his various vicissitudes. I gather he has trouble keeping weight on, so he may have to play the whole season at a lower weight than is ideal given that the rib fractures LeBron have him reputedly limited his off season preparation.

Wiggins is at 18-5-2 on 49/40/70 the past 2 weeks.. he's playing exclusive at POA defender, where he's actually been excellent, but reduces his ability to generate steals and blocks like in the past. He literally absorbs most of the negative defensive impact on the team, as do most specific POA defenders. And AGAIN he's been part of the best lineup on the team
Your crusade is weird and wrong man. Basing entire opinions off stuff you can read off BBRef is not how to accurately interpret the game, that's trade board stuff

I think you actually nailed it yourself, wiggins has been mostly a year wonder, he was not doing anything in his wolves days (pretty much a net negative player) and played out of his mind 2 years ago and last season missed games. He has 1 good season out of his 10 years career.
Return to Golden State Warriors
