The injuries sparked Goga and Black getting opportunities. Now that they're proven good players, certainly in GogaBit's case, whatever trade offer they had can be contemplated.
I agree it's possible Fultz isn't part of this. His tics are back sadly and his value is v low. He may just be kept for this season and then let go. But I think its also possible he's a salary match or an expiring for a team looking to get off salary.
Yeah, putting it that way is where I agree - if at any point they could've came back sooner and our FO went "No, no, it's fine..." then maybe that doesn't bode well for their future here lol.
But it's still a bit tricky - if Goga somehow re-signs here as a UFA I think that would be extremely telling for WCJ's future, but it's hard to say at this moment and Goga's decision may force them to just keep WCJ in that case.
Fultz is interesting because I do think it's hard to rely on a low-volume rookie all year. His best attributes is the ball not sticking with him because of pecking order stuff and just being a great connector piece. But he's a rook, will hit a wall, isn't someone Mose exactly trusts yet down the stretch. Fultz hitch being back is unfortunate and not good and not sure I want to commit to that, but if he is even similar to his offense and defense last year, he's still a helpful player until he's let go. I would then look to committing Black there full time or seeing if we can swing for some big name PG somehow. But Fultz would have to play different and the ball can't be in his hands as much because the offense gets bogged down way too much.
