It was actually only 4 picks, sir. I expect a correction

Randle has been at worst at the same level as Markkanen if you get passed the bias. Lauri is a more efficient scorer, but Randle is a much better playmaker, rebounder and they are probably the same level of defender.
Playmaker? I don’t agree. While Lauri isn’t a playmaker, Randle is a bad one. Lauri is a fairly good rebounder too, much better shooter and, most importantly, a system player. Randle just isn’t. You can build a team with Lauri or a collection of chuckers with Randle.
Would Utah want Randle? No. Would we go after Lauri now? No. Is anything going to happen? Of course not. Anyway, I’d always prefer the smarter player.
There's literally nothing that proves the bolded assertion besides pure bias. You can believe that if you want, but it's simply not true neither statistically nor anecdotally for that matter. Also what exactly makes Lauri a smarter player ? He's had 1 and a quarter good years of all-star production. Before that he was a rotation offense-first player that nobody gave a second though to here.
It's also amazing the pass players who simply haven't played in the playoffs get. Randle has been bad in the playoffs, but at least he's gotten there to have a sample of information to go off of. We have no idea what Markkanen can do in the playoffs...

Very strange. I don't think he proved his point. Just b/c DMitch is small height wise doesn't make Barret better at being a point of attack guard.
DMitch fits into that point of attack guard role as well as anyone. Too me, whether it works out depends on DMitch's ability to play defense - which he is capable of. For the record, I don't consider DMitch a small player b/c of his physical size and wing span.

Is he better than Taj? I need video. Also, we're getting Sims back in another 7-10 days.

Sure he's a better point of attack guard than RJ, but his point was we already have Brunson for that...and what you give up by having a tiny backcourt wouldn't be worth it ...for us. But we can agree to disagree.

DMitch has a decent wingspan and his D is underrated. The guy has defensive ability, he has just focused more on the offensive side. With Brunson and Julius (if RJ goes) and even Quickley, he will likely get back to playing more D under Thibs. You have both DD and Grimes as taller 2's to complement him.

Markkanen is a gem, but the picks are too many. He is also not for us, but you should put more thought into your words or he’ll make you look bad. People here talked like this about Sabonis too. Fox. KAT. Siakam. I’m sure there are many more. Trae Young is another one of those but that talk at least hasn’t backfired yet.

DD and Grimes are smaller 2's.....and the only over cover is Mitch so.....
