I'll also tell you what, Alperen is a strong guy. Duren couldn't manhandle shove him around the way he does or tries to intimidate some other C's.
TBF to Duren, the Pistons actually played the Rockets to a draw when he's on the court today (granted with some shooting luck and the Rockets rotation remaining relatively poor compare to their earlier season play.), but as soon as they took him out with the foul troubles it was immediate nuclear annihilation.
Also for Sengun, one significant development to keep track is that he's suddenly strung together ten games where he's just legit hitting free throws at a well over 80% clip, that would be huge for him. He could probably get into the 8-10 assist territory if the guard plays around him gets a bit more consistent (namely, Jalen Green, who's finally having a good stretch again after an awful one.)
But yeah, now that Sengun looks like a obvious #1 option and part of a very sound defense. it would be really really hard for Duren to get anywhere close in this conversation even if we assume he hits something close to his potential best outcome.
