It's more than a fair trade.
If Boucher was a healthy Jonather Isaac it would be fair....But this is far from fair in my eyes.
I think it's close but we lose. My intended implication is that it doesn't matter because Masai is valuing his players too much.
It does balance our roster and remove the IQ problem. Ideally, we would have prioritized IQ over the summer. But we didn't. I'd probably do this despite losing the trade in a vacuum.
IQ is an awfully good player and I think some.teams at this point value him.higher than RJ. No way I give up both RJ and Quick for OG and a lower end player in Boucer.
RJ for OG works and OG switched to CAA (probably not a pure coincidence). Then DeJounte for IQ.
You have increased the size and defensive versatility of your lineup with better fitting pieces around Brunson.
Rough minutes distribution:
Hartenstein (30), OG(8), Sims(10)
Randle (34), OG (14)
OG (10), Hart(30), DDV (8)
DeJounte (23), DDV (25)
Brunson (34), DeJounte (10), McBride (4)
