Great performances for him have been the norm recently, and the bad game was the exception. Not sure how you interpreted the opposite from my statement.
He's tired because he's played the 8th most minutes this season out of all NBA players. And of the 7 players with more minutes than him, he exceeds all of them in usage. This is for a guy who's just been out for a year with injury and is likely still building up his conditioning. So there should be no surprises that he's tired.

No excuses, just a potential explanation. It was pretty clear watching the game that a lot of his shots were hitting the front of the rim and he wasn't nearly as active defensively as what he has been recently.
