No one ranks by "if I were starting a franchise" otherwise there would be college QBs listed.

this year must mean something else where you come from.

I just dont care much about Dak's resume it doesnt impress me, what I saw from Herbert impresses me more. You can have Dak higher, it is ok.

Well if you dont go mental and try to understand maybe it would be more clear. Herbert being younger is not the argument, he just didnt have enough time prove himself in NFL, and those 4 years he had his career was managed terribly by Chargers. I cant compare the resumes of a 8 year career of a quarterback with a 4 year career of a quarterback who was stuck in a joke of a franchise called Chargers.

All in all what he showed in these 4 years and tools he has tells me he'll be a very very good quarterback once he gets a good coach and a play caller. You might disagree with this assessment, and this is totally ok

I've been a Dallas fan 40+ years and cheer for the team no matter who is playing.

I do think that scenario is near impossible though. So I'd have to eat crow on that front I guess.

Dak is dak because he got to develop his first few years behind offensive lines and running games that were at the top of the nfl. Daks not dak if he gets drafted by the chargers, or the jaguars, bears yada yada

Herbert is unquestionably talented. His first 4 years numbers are better than daks first 4 years. All that whilst in a pretty brutal situation.

To ignore surrounding circumstances and assume all situations are equal is a strange take.

Just about every GM would take Herbert over Dak. Careers dont last one season and even if it did you know Dak is going to fail you once you get to the important games. Dak could only dream about the throws Herbert makes, Herbert will be unleashed once Harbaugh gets there lol
