I'm happy to see Wendell get his groove back. Looking like the dude we all know he can be the last few games.

Agree to disagree. Most people thought having to play our rookie PG and 3rd string center meant a very tough time, and we rolled off 9 straight wins.

He's had to play Queen, Houstan and Okeke because we had so many injuries to our depth and while we've struggled lately, we've picked up an improbable win @ Denver and a gritty win @ NY.

Now our 2nd best player (who technically is playing better than Paolo in terms of impact) is out and we have no great offensive options.. yeah, sure an AI can coach an incredibly young and injured team to the same record...

Again, no issue calling his rotations garbage tonight.. but it's the same stuff every fanbase complains about. Snyder is supposed to be a brilliant offensive coach and yet Hawks fans are once again pissed and want to get rid of their third coach in a few years...

Maybe it's something else.

I still prefer what Goga brings but it is awesome to see WCJ starting to play well again.

I don't believe this is the case.

Fultz's value in a trade is entirely tied to his expiring contract, not what he provides on the court.

I agree. Mose had him out there because he does not in any way trust AB right now and does not appear to have a high opinion of Cole’s defense.

This is the trade deadline I will be the most angry if this team does nothing. They have way too much ammo in expirings and picks for them to just slip away and net nothing. And it couldn’t be more clear who will and won’t be a part of this team’s future.

Suggs on Fultz: ... he has his own things going on...

Reading between the lines, sounds like everyone knows his shoulder is f'ed.

This is deliberate. I felt like the AB Suggs backcourt has looked the best so far. They HAVE to play Fultz and Carter too (they have to know the dude is damaged goods) to trade them

Suggs without Ab puts too much pressure on Jalen to come up with stops.

We've seen this game one too many times.. they are deliberately playing players to move them.

Gotta grow and learn how to beat the bad teams. Having to go back home to play the Sixers and the Heat is gonna be a tall order.

I'm still angry at the rotations tonight but Coach Mose overall is doing a good job. Do not lump me in with the ones that may want him fired. He has his own growing pains as a head coach.

I like when he subbed in Fultz in the Knicks game because he was playing well overall and Suggs was a bit erratic. Tonight, not so much.

If houstan is getting minutes man he has to hit more shots.......few of his shots end up being like turnovers 1 shot no offensive rebound.... Got to hit more open shots

Franz and possibly Harris will be back so we could be at full strength.

Mosley also has a boss that he has to answer to. He has to play certain guys right now. They (Front Office) have most likely laid out a plan at the start of the season... making Fultz, Harris.. maybe WCJ tradable assets.

Full strength but playing an injured Fultz over AB isn't really full strength.

I def have no problems calling out his rotations tonight. But to be fair, plenty of games this year people were like "WTF?" and they've worked. That being said, man, so many "shot ourselves in the foot" moments tonight from coaching to players not being able to do simple things. It's like all these injuries have made them forgot about the details.

I like Goga's rebounding and shot blocking. But when you're playing against teams with talented perimeters and like to switch its very hard to run him a lot, unfortunately. Wendell isn't a shot blocker but is a lot more adept to guarding the perimeter. Also, that offensive bag is A LOT more expansive. Though a small sample size he's shoot 40 percent from 3 thus season...

A little too careless with the ball tonight too... they'll have to taper that number down in the next couple of years.

The jumper in the paint his clanked off the front of the rim and the 3 on 1 fastbreak were two of the worst plays I've seen all year. His mind is cooked.. he's done.

I loved Suggs play tonight in terms of efficiency, but Trae for some reason gets him to take stupid fouls. Then he argued with the ref all down the court, missed an easy and-1 and only got 1 FT out of it. These little things will get better.

But yeah Fultz is finished.. WCJ is a dumbass.. probably need to keep Joe around for a couple of years.. Cole had some nice moments.. Paolo competed.. Jalen had a decent game. Hope Franz comes back soon so they don't dip below .500. Isaac had a couple of nice possessions... Chuma did a couple of things.

Some really tough losses lately. When our opponent turns it over 22 times and only scores 106, we really can't afford to not win that game. But abysmal shooting is hard to overcome. Atlanta cashed in at the line while we once again shot sub-70%.

At some point these NBA players just have to make shots. We don't have a lot of high level offensive talent on the team, we know that. But these shooting performances continue to fall below even the lowest expectation. Caleb Houstan can't just be a shooting specialist who only shoots well a few times a month. I'm not trying to single him out as the scapegoat, I'm just saying.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Return to Orlando Magic
