Good to see Fultz and WCJ getting that trade value up

One thing about Fultz…

He may be a a 2/5 stars on offense, but he’s 4/5 stars on defense. Fultz and Suggs make an opposing teams’ guards lives a lot harder.

Offensively he’s 0 out of 5 for 3 point shooting, 2/5 midrange and 4/5 finishing around the hoop, but between last season and this season he’s a top PG in SPG.

Who is replacing WCJ? Goga is a UFA.

I didn’t really miss Goga tonight. He is a good fill in when WCJ is out hurt.

Trading WCJ is a mistake for me.

Yeah I mean Carter's always going to be a pretty low OREB guy because he doesn't just camp in the dunker spot like Goga does.

Goga's OREB% is 13.3%. WCJ's is just 8.4% this year.

But defensive rebounding, WCJ has traditionally been better for his career than Goga was this year. Just needs to uptick it back his career norms.

Goga is fine, but WCJ is one another level, better hands, touch around the basket, his ability to guard bigs close without fouling is great too

I would be very surprised if Carter was traded.

The only way it makes sense would be for a SIGNIFICANT upgrade in the backcourt.

WCJ is consistently missing games. Move on from our injury prone players.

I love what Goga provided, but Carter is clearly better and they definitely need Moritz's scoring if Isaac is healthy and able to cover him defensively.

Now just figure out a way to upgrade the Fultz slot using expirings and picks (and MAYBE one of Jett/Houstan if it's major upgrade) and we're really cooking with gas.
When Harris comes back, he'll likely replace Houstan/Black in the rotation.

If he's playing 50-65 games a year it's not a big deal unless you're able find someone who is better than him. Trading him just for the sake of trading him isn't optimal considering he spaces the floor and plays good defense.

This team thoroughly confused me.

Plays better when Franz (their best player advanced metrics wise) is on the floor and the rest of the team is relatively healthy.

They didn't have their 2nd best player (some consider him their best player) for the last 8 games and they went 3-5.

Not much more to it than that. If they had Franz they would have most likely won at least two of the games they lost while he was out.

No! I mean we beat the Heat with Jimmy and Kyle playing.

The Magic are certainly comparable to the Heat when both teams are healthy.

It was good to see the guys looking mostly like themselves for the first time since like April. Markelle resembled the guy we saw last year tonight, obviously his jumper isn’t there. Hopefully it can come back for the rest of the year. We’ll see. But there’s no reason he can’t contribute on D and set up the other 4 guys on the floor with him until he can at least attack the middle again. I do think there’s a high possibility he’ll be traded. But I like his game when he’s right. I just don’t want his best to be in another uni and burn us.
You look confused...let me fill you in.
